SEASONAL, MEDITERRANEAN-INSPIRED MENU

Clementine in Yountville, California Is a Bright and Beautiful New Restaurant

Clementine opened on August 14, 2025. The menu is seasonal, Mediterranean-inspired. Clementine is right in the heart of Yountville, located at 6525 Washington Street. Situated between two well-known breakfast spots: Bouchon Bakery (across the street) and the Mini Model Bakery, located in the old railcar adjacent to Clementine, right off Washington Street.

Clementine occupies a well-known Yountville space with a bit of dining history behind it. The restaurant is located in the former home of Coqueta, the Spanish tapas restaurant. The location may feel familiar to longtime visitors, but Clementine brings an entirely new energy to the space. Clementine restaurant is lighter, brighter, and has distinct Mediterranean vibes. Definitely a thoughtful reinvention that clearly marks a fresh chapter in Yountville’s food scene.

One of the most charming details at Clementine is the outdoor décor. The patio is furnished with high-quality outdoor seating that feels timeless and intentional. It is playful, elegant, and reminiscent of another era. The look brings to mind the nostalgic, old-world resort style you see from outdoor furniture brands like Business & Pleasure Co. Classic, strong silhouettes, with cheerful patterns. An effortless European-meets-California aesthetic. It is the kind of patio that invites you to linger, order another drink, and soak in the atmosphere rather than rush through a meal.

Clementine’s Outdoor Seating has a Vintage Riviera Feel

Clementine Yountville restaurant’s outdoor patio seating evokes the ambiance of a European Garden cafĂ© or a Provencal Country Terrace. Nostalgic sun-washed pastel upholstery, with courtyard-like enclosures and olive trees integrated into the deck. A provincial South of France meets English country garden decor featuring stunning metal CafĂ© bistro chairs. The patio features intimate table spacing, with mixed seating of sofas and chairs. It feels like it was designed to linger, converse and eat slowly; it is a very order another cocktail and stay a while.

Clementine Yountville’s Vibes

Walking into Clementine feels like stepping into a citrus-scented dream. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, with a cheerful aesthetic that mirrors the playful name. The inside of Clementine feels very European Café-inspired. The interior decor is an English/French countryside hybrid. Warm, natural wood cabinetry with beautiful glass panels, upholstered banquets with tailored skirts gives a cozy, but polished feeling, securing the English country vibe. Where the marble café tables, the Brentwood style chairs, the globe pendant lighting, and the table lamps on the dining table are a very French bistro move.

What I like to go to Clementine Yountville Restaurant For…

With a smaller, more streamlined kitchen and an intentionally concise menu, Clementine shines as a place to start the day, enjoy a fun cocktail, or stop in for a lighter bite between winery visits or before dinner reservations elsewhere. It’s especially well-suited for breakfast, daytime drinks, or a relaxed snack. Making it an easy, flexible stop in the flow of a Napa Valley day.

I appreciate that at Clementine, I can have a European Café breakfast experience without having to stand in a line and then hope to find a place to sit along the Yountville sidewalk, as you do with the other cafés and bakeries in Yountville. At Clementine, I can have my latte in a proper cup instead of a takeaway cup and still order an amazing pastry to go along with my latte.

Whether you are dining al fresco under olive trees on the spacious patio or inside amidst warm, inviting décor, Clementine offers space for all kinds of weather throughout the seasons in Napa Valley.

The patio is especially inviting; it is one of those places that makes you want to stay for “just one more” spritz. The Garden Spritz at Chandon is one of my favorite wine country drinks, and I love to visit when I’m in Yountville. However, Clementine’s bar menu delivers the same bright, spritz-worthy flavors without ever leaving the main strip of town.

Clementine’s bar menu provides a break from continuous wine-forward enjoyment. It is a perfect spot for those who enjoy a fun and whimsical cocktail. Or a refreshing drink on a warm day.

What I like to order at Clementine:

  • I love to start my order with a latte (anytime of the day).
  • The pastry basket is a must if you have friends to share with.
  • The steak and eggs is by far my favorite entrĂ©e on the menu.
  • I also love the seasonal flatbreads, and these are great to share.
  • When I want a lighter snack, I love the fruit plate and a side of Hobbs bacon or the house-made breakfast sausage.
  • My daughter always wants to order the burrata and prosciutto board, which is a perfect pairing to the vast offerings of Clementine’s whimsical bar menu. I always order a drink with a beautiful seasonal garnish.
  • For dessert, I always have room for gelato.

Is Clementine worth visiting in Yountville?

As I said above, Clementine is a great place to start the day, have a spritz, or stop in for a light snack between winery visits or before dinner reservations elsewhere. It’s ideal for breakfast, bites, and sips. If you’re planning a Napa Valley trip, Clementine is worth adding to your list.
