Easy Frozen Raspberry Kefir Popsicle on a tray with ice and parchment paper

Easy Frozen Raspberry Kefir Popsicles

Print Recipe
Prep Time:10 minutes
Freezing in freezer:8 hours
Total Time:8 hours 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Raspberry Kefir (1- 32 oz bottle)
  • 1/3 cup Raspberries cut or torn into smaller pieces

Instructions

  • First, gather all the ingredients and the popsicle mold and sticks. (I have a few but this is the best one I have ever used: Silicone Homemade Popsicle Maker.) Also, prepare a space in your freezer for the popsicle mold to stay until the popsicles freeze completely.
  • Place the popsicle mold on a sheet pan for easy transfer into the freezer.
  • Next, tear the raspberries into smaller pieces.
  • Then, distribute one-third of the raspberries in the popsicle mold.
  • Now, pour the raspberry kefir into the popsicle mold to about halfway full.
  • Add another one-third of the torn raspberry pieces into the popsicle molds.
  • Pour the rest of the raspberry kefir into the popsicle mold until all the molds have the same fullness.
  • Then add the last one-third of the torn raspberry pieces into the popsicle molds.
  • Finish popsicles according to the mold directions: with the Silicone Homemade Popsicle Maker, you'll place the included silicone cover on the mold and then insert the popsicle sticks.
  • Carry the sheet pan holding the popsicle mold to the freezer. Place both the sheet pan and mold in the freezer. This is to not spill trying to lift the popsicle mold off of the sheet pan.

Notes

These popsicles are not overly sweet. They taste just as the kefir does from the container. It's best for gut health to not add sweeteners. However, if you do want them to be more sweet I recommend honey or simple syrup to your desired sweetness before pouring into the popsicle molds.
